You do not need an appointment for routine blood collection- please come in and take a number and you will be called when it is your turn. For certain specialised tests (eg. Glucose Tolerance tests, Holter Monitors), you will need an appointment and you can enquire with them about this.

In-House Radiology provide a full range of ultrasound scan services onsite in Gisborne. You can call reception on 5483 3333 to discuss session times and fees and to book ultrasound appointments.

Some ultrasound scans are bulk billed for eligible patients, otherwise a gap fee is payable on the day.

We have a Pharmacy located within the building. UFS Pharmacy have served the local community for many years. UFS Pharmacy is a community pharmacy and provide a personalised service.

UFS Pharmacy (the main branch) on Brantome Street is open 365 days a year.

A number of our GPs are specially trained in the detection and treatment of skin cancers. They perform whole body skin checks, biopsies and surgical excisions of skin cancers, as well as necessary follow up after the diagnosis of a skin cancer.

We provide mole mapping services from our Gisborne site. You can contact our reception on 5483 3333 to make an appointment with Dr Daliah Mirchandani or Dr Umair Masood for a MoleMap.

Dr Umair Masood provides a cosmetic injectables clinic 4 days per week from the Gisborne site. He gives anti-wrinkle injections and dermal fillers, using only the best products that are available.

At the initial consult, your needs will be assessed and a treatment plan with costs will be provided. There is no obligation to proceed to any treatment unless you choose to do so. You can come back another day to have the treatment if you want to.

Initial appointments are 30 minutes long and cost $30. If you have treatment on the same day, this cost is deducted from the total.

We offer Aviation Medicals as per CASA requirements for pilots and air traffic controllers.

Dr Umair Masood and Dr Nikhil Puppala are Designated Aviation Medical Examiners (DAME). They conduct aviation medical appointments over 30 minutes . We offer in house collection of bloods, ECG and audiology services as required.

Aviation medicals are done on the CASA online platform. Please make sure you have logged into the online platform, answered all the questions, made the payment to CASA and submitted your answers. This will then be accessed by our doctor so that your medical can be completed. If audit requirements, further tests or specialist input are required, it may delay the submission of your medical. If you are aware of this, please come well prior to your license expiry date.

The cost for an aviation medical is $240. When you call to make a booking, please let us know your ARN.

Our allied health services are located at the Woodend branch. All of our allied health clinicians are passionate about holistic health care and helping you to achieve your goals.

We have psychologists, a diabetes educator, audiologists, a physiotherapist and a podiatrist available for appointments.

You can self refer to our allied health clinicians, or use a GP referral, GP management plan or mental health care plan to access visits if appropriate.

The Do Food Project Cafe is open at the Gisborne site 5 days per week. Run by Distinctive Options, the cafe employs people with diverse abilities to provide delicious snacks, meals, coffee and soft drinks in a warm and friendly environment.
